On Oct 5, 1970 the 2/35th moved out to establish what would be their last FSB in Vietnam. This was FSB Augusta located at coordinates BR801728.
After Action reports describe the A/O secured by FSB Augusta as being approximately 50 Km NE of Camp Radcliff. First security for the base was provided by A Co. FSB Augusta was closed on Oct 12/70 at which time the 2/35th returned to Camp Radcliff and prepared to bring the Colors home to the USA.
