1300 hours From B Co to TOC: Our 331 element which was left in last nights night laager at 044461 to secure backhaul had two individuals walk into night laager. They started digging in the trash. 331's security elements told individuals to halt. They turned and fled, 331 fired on them, 331 now sweeping area. One individual had khaki shirt and pants, other a plaid shirt, found blood trail leading southwest and are reconning by fire.
1320 hours: From B Co to TOC: Our 331 element has found individual with plaid shirt, he is bleeding badly, our medic is working on him now. He is hit below the hip.
1330 hours: From Toc to Pleiku, request one urgent Dust-Off of VC, individual shot in lower hip, Dust-Off 61 ETA is 15 minutes.
1635 hours: Recon OPCON to 2/35 at this time.
1900 hours: B Co to TOC, CO requests 4 maps, #6537 II, also wants to know changes in command of Bn.
