Summary: Log opened at 0001 hours 12 June 1969. Unit locations: At LZ Oasis grid ZA117277; Battalion Headquarters (Forward), 1/35th Command Post is at LZ Oasis ZA117277; A Company at ZA072350; B Company at ZA054353; C Company at ZA078357; D Company at ZA982285; Recon platoon is located at ZA069342; 4.2" mortar platoon located at ZA982285; Headquarters and Headquarters Company Support (S-4 Forward) at LZ Oasis; At Base Camp (Camp Enari); Battalion Headquarters (Rear).

1020 hours (C) Bde To TOC: The following are SOI changes: 2/35th B Co cmmd A 34.60. 2/35th Air ground 56.15.

1335 hours (C) Cpt Scott to CO of C Co: Your element is a Reaction Force for LRRP team in area 995585. One platoon is on a 30-minute standby and remainder of Co on 2-hour standby. Intelligence reports it is a VC training area. Further indications are that there is a Bn size force in the area 2 to 3 clicks south. Maps will be provided.

1655 hours (C) B Co to TOC: B Co CP reports hearing 50 cal, A/W weapons fire, M-79 at azimuth 295 degrees, 4 clicks.

1710 hours (C) Bde to TOC: A 1/10 resupply convoy received 2 B-40's and small arms fire from the east side if the road at ZA002376. They returned fire and swept the area with negative findings, casualties or damages.

2045 hours (C) Bde S2 to Bn S2: Enemy attacks (Confidential) indications are that an enemy force in the B-3 front area will initiate wide spread attacks by fire and some sapper actions between 13, 17 June the most likely dates are between 13 and 15 June.

2223 hours (C) S-2 to all elements: Following are receiving incoming: Camp Enari, small arms, An Khe, 82mm mortar, Dak To, 122mm rockets and 75mm recoilless, LZ Penny, 82mm mortar.
