No significant activities occurred in the area of operation during the reporting period. 1905 hours (C) From the Bde S-2 to the Bn S-2: CG 1st Field Forces reports the following: Captured documents and other reliable sources indicated that the enemy intends to initiate countrywide attacks between 15-24 December 1968. Primary efforts will be made in the III and IV Corps area with supporting attacks throughout Vietnam. 1 source indicated hearing attacks to be made during the nights of 12-13 December 1968, be alerted for a possible attack in the II Corps area on these dates. Estimate that the enemy is capable of conducting the attacks with fire and sapper anywhere in the II Corps area. Passed to A, B, C, Recon and 4.2.
