0910 hours (C) A Co 1/35 Inf SRP 1 spotted 50 NVA wearing soft caps all of them had weapons and were wearing rucksacks. Light Organics (Mortars) were fired. The mortar rounds came right on them. The movement stopped. The mortars have stopped firing at this time. 0917 hours (C) B Co 1/35 SRP #12 spotted 15 VC in vicinity of village. They had steel pots and weapons.
