Killing Crabs the Hard Way

Thailand 1962, Young soldier, less than a private heard me give a sex talk about condoms, abstinence, cleanliness, washing etc. The old Medic to troops talk.

Late that night from under the water buffalo heard a God Awful screech and scream. Seems our young Private had visited a house of ill-repute and upon returning and sobering up he decided to use a 5 gal can of gas to cleanse his genitals, thus the mad dash to the Buffalo and the screams. 2nd degree burns result.

There should be a moral to that story somewhere, but I had to treat this young buck and had lost all sense of humor at that time.

Now as I reflect It is one of those stories that cannot be believed but is true as the earth we stand on....Go Cacti…
