On Sept. 7, 1970 the 2/35th returned to the field after a 10 day stand down and established FSB Washington (coordinates BR670706). After Action Reports describe the A/O secured by FSB Washington as being approximately 85 Km SSW of Camp Radcliff in the Phu Yen Phu Bon provincial border area. B Co provided the first security for the FSB. FSB Washington remained in use until Oct 3, 1970.
