On July 29, 1970 the 2/35th established FSB Powder (coordinates BR636179). After Action Reports describe the A/O surrounding FSB as being approximately 68 Km NNW of Camp Radcliff in the An Lao Valley. D Co provided the first security here. FSB Powder remained in use until August 27, 1970.
This FSB was well known for the many many sniper incidents.
