On July 17, 1970 the 2/35th ended their stand down on FSB Two Bits II and established FSB Abbey. I have been unable to establish a set coordinate for FSB Abbey but Daily Journals tell us that 2 of the LP positions for the FSB were at coordinates 748814 and 746816. After Action Reports describe the A/O as being approximately 40 Km NE of Camp Radcliff in the Song Kim Son River Valley.
A Co. provided the first security for the base. FSB Abbey was in use from July 17 through July 29, 1970.
