0815 hours (C) From B Co CO to Bn CO: I have been experiencing several cases of foot disease, I have been unable to get sox on several occasions, even one pair on several occasions. I must have sox.

1005 hours (C) B Co to TOC: Reports automatic weapons fire azimuth 120 degrees 1 to 1 1/2 clicks, LOH was in the area.

1020 hours (C) Ref to item 33 from 1/10 to TOC: Shamrock 52 informed us that project (1/10) 52 received ground to air fire approximately 5 clicks west of Pleiku air base. 1/10 CP received 4 hits in bird and project 52 was injured, he is in route to 71st hospital.

1100 hours (C) TOC to Bde: Blackjack 12 reported ground to air fire south, southeast of LZ Ruth from sell ZA170510. Altitude and speed unknown, we had negative hits.

1416 hours (U) DELAYED ENTRY - On 5 July 69 at 1400H from 2/35 to TOC: 2/35 Aloha 13 with S3 aboard received 7 to 8 rounds AK-47 fire vicinity ZA178507, Arty was requested and adjusted in the area. B 2/35 23 element is sweeping at vicinity ZA164511 and will be sweeping in that area. They have a FO with that element.

1420 hours (C) D Co to TOC: Resupply bird, Alligator 443 on 335 degree azimuth, 1/2 click from A Co; 310 degree azimuth, 600 meters which is approximate grid 090547 received small arms at 1425 hours. Slick returned fire and was fired at while returning fire. Arty trying to plan.

1604 hours (C) Our resupply bird while enroute to A Co location spotted an estimated platoon of dinks, 1 ran into the tree line 5 to 8 clicks away west of LZ Ruth. A Co ZA102510.

1721 hours (C) Alligator 443 received automatic weapons fire vicinity 153506 approximately 5 individuals. 21, 23 and 94 moving.

1842 hours (C) B Co to TOC: At 098508 12 bunkers 3' x 4' with 3 to 4 feet overhead cover, 1 kitchen able to accommodate 20 people, last use 3 days, there was still a small camp fire burning in the area.
