Unit locations: At LZ Oasis grid ZA117277; Battalion Headquarters (Forward), A Company at ZA113342; B Company (-) CP at ZA106364; C Company (-) CP at ZA160356; D Company CP at ZA140380; Recon platoon at AR818176; 4.2 mortar platoon at LZ Oasis; Headquarters and Headquarters Company Support (S-4 Forward) at LZ Oasis; At Base Camp (Camp Enari); Battalion Headquarters (Rear).

At 0721 hours on 27 Apr 69 B Company reports enemy KIA of last night was Vietnamese and had rice in his pack, ammo punch, 2 Chinese Communist grenades. At 1120 hours on 27 Apr 69 B Company has all back call and said packs are 200 meters east southwest of the Checkpoint.

0630 hours (C) Recon to TOC: At 0545 we spotted a light 250-300 meters across the blueline (Guess) and someone was lighting a cigarette (guess). About 3 individual were seen and they stayed in the same area for about 10 minutes. When dawn came they could not been seen and the platoon is going to sweep the area soon.

0721 hours (C) In reference to KIA of last night, B Co reports enemy KIA was Vietnamese and had rice in his pack, ammo pouch and 2 Chinese Communist grenades.

1650 hours (C) We request a Dust-Off for B Co line #137 was shot in the left forearm by friendlies and the pick up zone is at ZA103364. Pleiku Dust-Off 39 has an estimated time of arrival of 30 minutes.
