0156 hours (U) DELAYED ENTRY-0130 hours 9 Apr 69- At 0130 hours Recon reported movement approximately 180 meters to their north vicinity grid ZA027674, sounded like someone on the wire on the perimeter, they will employ light organics.
0945 hours (C) Brigade S-3 informs us that the Commanding General desires more short-range patrols and ambushes around LZ English and more will be out tonight.
0955 hours (C) In reference to entry #31 - We will comply on message and also require that the 3d platoon of D Company securing the Rock Quarry be sent back to LZ English no later that 1600 hours today in order to provide more security for LZ English.
2200 hours (C) Planned Summary: A Company to Combat assault vicinity 017713. B Co continues to sweep from west to east along ridgeline ending up in vicinity 060690 and is to be prepared to walk to LZ English. C Co sweeps south to north 086691 then sweeps south. D Co retains the security for LZ English and is to be prepared for combat assault. E Co is to remain the same location as a direct support to our element.
2159 hours (C) Nagger 0 to 1/35: VIP will be out here 12 Apr at 1430 hours to give Bronze Star to Line #129 April roster D Co.
2200 hours (C) B Co 531 element had movement 25 meters west moving north to south over saddle. They have thrown fragments and are waiting now for further movement.
