B Company and Recon were alerted to conduct combat ambush operation at grid 7148 and 7252; both coordinates are center mass for the operation, operation to start 31 December 1968 until 2 January 1969. 0115 (U) TOC guards checked by Sergeant Dwyer. All on duty. 2357 (C) To B Co from Major Royal: Have a platoon at 780508 cross the river and be at 7752 by 1200 hours, establish ambush at grid 771524 on 31 Dec platoon will remain across the river in the A/O to be designated tomorrow through 0900 hours 2 Jan 69, have night location in NLT 1930 hours, proposed 1130 hours, maintain 3 SRP's Special Forces will continue the mission if 1 plt from C Co goes in, plt on ground will control if C Co (-) goes in 8372 will command.
