Remember when we moved North? The monsoon had started in Duc Pho and we spent one wet day sitting at the airport only to return the next day to fly north to the I Corps. We would be fighting soldiers in uniform, with radios, mortars, rockets and very clever tactics. When we went North, we were first under the control of the 101st Airborne at LZ Mary Lou, then the 1st Cav when we settled in at LZ Baldy. Tet 68 was just around the corner.
