"The Battle of An Thach" On August 20, 1967, north of Duc Pho, in Quang Ngai Province, Recon Platoon/2-35th combined with C/2-34th Armor (Team Hocker), along with Companies A and B 2/35th Inf met elements of the 3rd NVA Division at the hamlet of An Thach. The results of the engagement were 53 enemy KIA.
