The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Cordell Lee Jr, who died in the service of his country on September 18th, 1950 in South Korea. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Cordell was 22 years of age. He was from McMinnville, Tennessee.

The decorations earned by PFC Cordell Lee Jr include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star with V, the Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Korea Service Medal, and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.

Comments: Private First Class Lee originally listed as a member of the 29th Infantry Regimental Combat Team, but that unit was retired on or before September 4, 1950, and he was assigned to the 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in South Korea on September 18, 1950. The 29th was attached to the 19th Infantry Regiment from July 28th through September 4, 1950. He entered the service 1 February 1946.
