The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Earl Dewayne Tripp, 39915513, who died in the service of his country on February 2nd, 1945 in Luzon. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Earl was 20 years of age. He was from Midvale, Utah.

The decorations earned by PFC Earl Dewayne Tripp include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.



Eldest son of Francis Earl and Laura (Malmstrom) Tripp. He graduated from Jordan High School in 1943 and was drafted into the US Army. Trained at Camp Roberts, California and was sent to New Caledonia and the Philippines. Killed in action at Luzon.

Burial was finally made August 3, 1948
