The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, SSG Thomas Alfred Parker Jr., 12016086, who died in the service of his country on March 28th, 1945 in Luzon. The cause of death was listed as Accidental Shooting. At the time of his death Thomas was 27 years of age. He was from Rochester, New York.

The decorations earned by SSG Thomas Alfred Parker Jr. include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.

"Telephone call from Company A, urgently in need of litter and litter squad. D Company man accidentally shot, condition serious. Wire crew from HQ sent out as litter bearers bringing man back wounded man. Arriving at CP, man had died."

Thomas enlisted October,1940.
