The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Hulbert Ray Parker, 34613553, who died in the service of his country on May 7th, 1945 in Luzon. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Hulbert was 25 years of age. He was from Wiggins, Mississippi.

The decorations earned by PFC Hulbert Ray Parker include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.


Hulbert was born in 1919 and enlisted at the age of 23 on 12/31/1942.
He was a truck driver before enlistment working for J.A.Jones Construction Company.
