The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Paul W. Ferguson, 34190299, who died in the service of his country on March 20th, 1945 in Luzon, The Philippines. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Paul was 25 years of age. He was from Ardmore, Alabama.

The decorations earned by PFC Paul W. Ferguson include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.

Pfc. Paul W. Ferguson, 25, was killed in action March 20 on Luzon, according to information received from the War Dept. by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Ferguson of Ardmore. He entered service in February 1942 and after three months training at Camp Wolters, Texas, went overseas in May. He was a member of the Sixth Army in the Philippines with an infantry company. He had not been home on leave since going overseas and was wounded 2 years ago at Guadalcanal.

Besides his widow, he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. F. Ferguson, three brothers, Willard of Athens and R. L. and Forrest of Ardmore; seven sisters.
