The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Donald Edward Cane, who died in the service of his country on March 13th, 1945 in Luzon, The Philippines. The cause of death was listed as KIA-MIA. At the time of his death Donald was 26 years of age. He was from Alexandria, Nebraska.

The decorations earned by PFC Donald Edward Cane include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.


Graduate of Alexandria High School..Class of 1935

Donald is still MIA. He is listed on Tablets of The Missing at Manila.
