The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, SFC Anthony Joseph Lanze Jr., who died in the service of his country on July 29th, 1952 in North Korea. The cause of death was listed as Drowned. At the time of his death Anthony was 24 years of age. He was from Hyde Park, Massachusetts.

Sergeant First Class Lanze was a member of the Medium Tank Company, 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. On July 29, 1952 as he was crossing a stream in the Mundung-ni Valley, North Korea, he was swept away and drowned. Sergeant First Class Lanze was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Korean War Service Medal.
