The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, SGT Robert Earl Umbel, ER33900838, who died in the service of his country on July 24th, 1951 in North Korea. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Robert was 26 years of age. He was from Friendsville, Maryland. Robert's Military Occupation Specialty was 1745-Light Weapons Infantry Leader.
