The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PV2 Stanley Richard Mc Connell, RA37775039, who died in the service of his country on February 4th, 1951 in South Korea. The cause of death was listed as Seriously WIA by missile-Died of wounds (FECOM). At the time of his death Stanley was 24 years of age. He was from Watertown, South Dakota. Stanley's Military Occupation Specialty was 4745-Light Weapons Infantryman.

He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea on February 3, 1951 and died of those wounds the following day.
