GI's Father Is Sought So Casualty Telegram Can Be Delivered
The police have been asked by the authorities of the McClellan Air Force Base to aid in efforts to find John Richard Wilmuth, father of Private First Class Fred P. Wilmuth.
The detectives were notified the father is sought so a telegram from the casualty section of the personnel action branch of the adjutant general's office in Washington, DC, may be delivered.
The family recently lived at the rear of 2660 Twenty Sixth Avenue.

Nephew Killed In Korean Fighting
Mrs. J. H. Boden, route No. 2, has learned that a nephew, Dwayne Wilmuth, was killed in action in Korea on Sept. 12. Surviving are his father and sister, Mrs. Vivian Parker, who reside in California. He has a brother in service and from whom no word has been received in a long time.

Dwayne Wilmuth Killed in Korea
Dwayne Wilmuth of Casa Grande was reported this week killed in action in Korea on September 12th where he was serving in the infantry of the U. S. Army. Dwayne made his home in Casa Grande with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Douglass, for several years and attended school here. He graduated from Eloy Elementary School in 1948 and enlisted in the army in October, 1948, at the age of 16. The last time he was home on furlough was August of 1949.
