The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Jacques Armand Boissonneault, RA11176071, who died in the service of his country on February 11th, 1951 in South Korea. The cause of death was listed as Seriously WIA by missile-Died of wounds (FECOM). At the time of his death Jacques was 21 years of age. He was from Biddeford, Maine. Jacques' Military Occupation Specialty was 4745-Light Weapons Infantryman.

Private First Class Boissonneault was a member of the 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea on September 23, 1950 and returned to duty on October 10, 1950. He was seriously wounded again on February 5, 1951 and died of those wounds on February 11, 1951. Private First Class Boissonneault was awarded the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster, the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.

Jacques is buried in Saint Joseph's Cemetery, Biddeford, Maine
