The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Charles Richard Battershell, US55042745, who died in the service of his country on October 17th, 1951 in South Korea. The cause of death was listed as Seriously WIA by missile-Died of wounds (FECOM). At the time of his death Charles was 22 years of age. He was from Robinson, Illinois. Charles' Military Occupation Specialty was 4745-Light Weapons Infantryman.
