The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, CPL Walter F. Piver, US51000937, who died in the service of his country on September 7th, 1951 in North Korea, Hills 717-682. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Walter was 23 years of age. He was from West Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Walter's Military Occupation Specialty was 4812-Heavy Weapons Infantryman.

Walter Piver was my uncle. His brother Edwin was also killed in action. What a wonderful remembrance for a special man who lost his life so young. I wish my grandparents were alive to see it.
