The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, CPL George Peter Metzker, RA32931186, who died in the service of his country on September 3rd, 1950 in South Korea. The cause of death was listed as MIA to KIA. At the time of his death George was 25 years of age. He was from Buffalo, New York. George's Military Occupation Specialty was 62c-Food Service Apprentice.

The decorations earned by CPL George Peter Metzker include: the Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Korea Service Medal, and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.


WWII Veteran; Peter originally entered service 14 April 1943 and subsequently 20 September 1949.
