The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Andrew Edgar Hathaway, RA26332214, who died in the service of his country on November 28th, 1950 in North Korea. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Andrew was 18 years of age. He was from Winnebago County, Illinois. Andrew's Military Occupation Specialty was 4745-Light Weapons Infantryman.

He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on November 28, 1950. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. Private First Class Hathaway was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
