The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PV2 Robert J. Tricomi, US51213264, who died in the service of his country on June 21st, 1953 in North Korea. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Robert was 21 years of age. He was from Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Robert's Military Occupation Specialty was 1745-Light Weapons Infantry Leader.

The decorations earned by PV2 Robert J. Tricomi include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Korea Service Medal, and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.


Private Tricomi was a member of the 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on June 21, 1953. Private Tricomi was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.

(From Richard Johndrow) Bob Tricomi was hit in the head by a sniper. Bob was a nightclub singer in Boston and his orders to transfer to the 25th Inf Div Band were in the CP at the time of his death.
