The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, CPL Arthur Richard Ikkala, ER55003123, who died in the service of his country on March 7th, 1951 in South Korea. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Arthur was 26 years of age. He was from Negaunee, Michigan. Arthur's Military Occupation Specialty was 4745-Light Weapons Infantryman.

Arthur was of Finnish ancestry. His brother, Aaro Ikkala, was killed in WWII, while serving in U.S.Navy.
