The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, SGT Kyle A. Colnot, who died in the service of his country on April 22nd, 2006 in Bagdad, Iraq. The cause of death was listed as IED. At the time of his death Kyle was 23 years of age. He was from Arcadia, California.

The decorations earned by SGT Kyle A. Colnot include: the Purple Heart,


Killed at age 23, of Arcadia, Calif.; assigned to the 1st Squadron, 67th Armored Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; died of injuries sustained April 22 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Humvee causing a fire during combat operations in Baghdad during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Also killed were Pfc. Jacob H. Allcott, Pvt. Michael E. Bouthot and Spc. Eric D. King.
