The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, SGT Thomas Patrick Lourence, 39837154, who died in the service of his country on May 21st, 1944 in New Caledonia. The cause of death was listed as Died Non Battle, Truck Crash. At the time of his death Thomas was 33 years of age. He was from Tehama County, California.

The decorations earned by SGT Thomas Patrick Lourence include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.
