The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Carl H. Frick, who died in the service of his country on January 15th, 1943 in Guadalcanal. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Carl was 24 years of age. He was from Charlotte, North Carolina.

The decorations earned by PFC Carl H. Frick include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.


Carl was a member of the 2nd Platoon, 2nd Squad of Fox Co. He worked in textile manufacturing before enlisting in 1940.
