The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Anstacian W. Anastasion, who died in the service of his country on January 11th, 1943 in Guadalcanal. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Anstacian was 29 years of age. He was from New York City, New York.

The decorations earned by PFC Anstacian W. Anastasion include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.

Anstacian was born in Massachusetts and was a construction worker in civilian life. He is buried at Long Island National Cemetery.

He was a member of the 1st Platoon, Platoon Hq of Fox Co.
