The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Richard Allen Boyd, who died in the service of his country on February 15th, 1952 in North Korea. The cause of death was listed as Other Casues (Non-Hostile). At the time of his death Richard was 19 years of age. He was from Watsonville, California.

Private First Class Boyd was awarded the Combat Infantrymans Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
Boyd was accidentally shot by another soldier.
