Sgt Thomas you was my platoon Sergeant in "C" company 2nd Bn 35th Infantry 4th Inf. Div. I have always remembered how brave you were to try and retrieve Edward Day and "Arizona" Philip Konigsfeld. Your life was taken from us on the 3rd day in April 1968 on Hill 1062. Your bravery and courage were exemplary that day In trying to retrieve their bodies when your life was taken from us. I will never forget you my Cacti Brother.
