The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, CPL Charles Abraham Oberdorf, RA33612224, who died in the service of his country on November 27th, 1950 in North Korea. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Charles was 25 years of age. He was from South Danville, Pennsylvania. Charles' Military Occupation Specialty was 4745-Light Weapons Infantryman.

His remains were not recovered. For his leadership and valor, Corporal Oberdorf was awarded the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.

Charles was a WWII veteran.
