The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, SGT Raymond John Churchill, who died in the service of his country on August 4th, 1966 in Pleiku Province, Vietnam. The cause of death was listed as Small Arms. At the time of his death Raymond was 19 years of age. He was from Lyndon Station, Wisconsin. Raymond is honored on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial at Panel 09E, Line 105. Raymond was the RTO for the FO serving A, 2/35. His parent unit was technically HHC, 2/9 Artillery but we chose to honor him as a Cacti Brother. Raymond died of wounds received on 8/2/66.
