The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, CPL Harold Christianson, who died in the service of his country on January 15th, 1943 in Guadalcanal. The cause of death was listed as MIA-KIA. He was from New York.

The decorations earned by CPL Harold Christianson include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.

Harold was in the 2nd Platoon, 1st Squad of Fox Company.

Harold's remains were never found; he has a memorial grave in the Manila Cemetery.
