The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC George C. Anderson, who died in the service of his country on February 15th, 1945 in Luzon. The cause of death was listed as KIA-DOW. He was from Missouri.

The decorations earned by PFC George C. Anderson include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.

George was wounded on 02/02/1945 during the 2nd Battalion night ambush of a Japanese column near Masiil-Sill. He died at the 61st Portable Surgical Hospital.
