The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, CPL William Edward Bell, who died in the service of his country on March 3rd, 1951 in Korea. The cause of death was listed as Non-Hostile. At the time of his death William was 20 years of age. He was from Baltimore, Maryland.

The decorations earned by CPL William Edward Bell include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Korea Service Medal, and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.


Corporal Bell was a member of Company A, 1st Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He died of other causes on March 3, 1951. Corporal Bell was awarded the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.

William is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn Park, MD.
