The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, SP4 David Littlehale Farley, who died in the service of his country on October 9th, 1967 in Quang Tin Province, Vietnam. The cause of death was listed as Small Arms/AW. At the time of his death David was 22 years of age. He was from Brunswick, Maine. David is honored on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial at Panel 27E, Line 81.

The decorations earned by SP4 David Littlehale Farley include: the Combat Medical Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm Unit Citation.

David L Farley, 22, SP/4 USA, Old Bath Road, was killed in Vietnam Monday. He was born in Bath, October 26, 1944, the son of Paul R and Beulah Littlehale Farley. He graduated from Brunswick High School and Atlantic Union College, South Lancaster, Massachusetts. He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Brunswick. He entered the Army in 1966.

Surviving are his parents; two sisters, Mrs. Phyllis June Kimbro of Maitland, Florida and Miss Joyce Arline Farley, Orlando, Florida; three brothers, Phillip W; Boise A and Paul J, all of Brunswick; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Littlehale, Woodstock; two uncles and four aunts.

Military funeral services were held at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Upper Maine Street. Elder N. Maxim Frost officiated. Burial was at Varney Cemetery.
