The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Robert Dewey Hunt, RA13335825, who died in the service of his country on September 3rd, 1950 in South Korea. The cause of death was listed as KIA. At the time of his death Robert was 19 years of age. He was from Pensacola, Florida. Robert's Military Occupation Specialty was 4745-Light Weapons Infantryman.

The decorations earned by PFC Robert Dewey Hunt include: the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Korea Service Medal, and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.

Robert entered the service 28 November 1949. He was born in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.

Robert was in my squad when he got killed on "C" Ration Hill in september 1950 Robert joined "B" Co in January 1950 in Otsu Japan. As I remember he was married with a small child. I think he was only 18 years old. He was a good soldier. I helped get him out of his fox hole (Harley Coon)
