Hi Ernest,
Guess who I saw yesterday? Your baby brother Andre. He still looks like a little boy. But he's not. He's turned into a fine man that you would have been so proud of. He has beautiful and intelligent daughters. His wife is beautiful to. I sent him the info to get in touch with you, so he'll be in touch soon, I'm sure. Your friend Sterling Adams is doing fine also. We talk about you from time to time. We can't go down memory lane too often though, because it is just toooo painful. But I guess I don't have to tell you that. You were so young when you made the ultimate sacrifice for us all. Please know that your life was not taken in vain. You have so many young cousins and nieces and nephews that are living safer lives because of the 58,000+ young men and women who lost theirs. We miss you, we thank you and most of all, we love each and every one of you.
Carrie Cauthen,
Friend and almost family
